Tears, Traditions & a Dress in the Trunk
Aryn and Curtis Wolf’s wedding day was one for the books — full of love, laughter, and the kind of emotional moments that stick with you. Held at Sacred Heart Church in Plainville and celebrated at the VFW in Hays, the day had heart, beauty, and more than a few happy tears.
Emotional First Looks That Set the Tone
Aryn’s first look with her children was tender and tearful — then she did the same with Curtis. Both moments were raw and moving, and set the perfect tone for the day.
Tradition at Sacred Heart Church
The Catholic ceremony was classic and meaningful, with unity candles, hugs with parents, and joyful tears. Group photos with family were taken at the altar before the ceremony so the ceremony could be grounded in the moment, not distracted by all the little to-dos still hanging over their heads.
And yes, the getaway car featured a wedding dress peeking from the trunk — intentional or not, it got a good laugh.
Reception Warmth at the VFW
Jennifer Klepper and her family brought their A-game with the decor and dress — everything felt personal and handcrafted.
I caught the cake cutting and all the early good vibes before the party moved into the evening.
